برنامج النائب الأول لتنمية الكوادر الوطنية

The FDPM Fellowship was launched in 2015 to help mentor and prepare exceptional young Bahrainis from various government entities for a career in public service leadership.

Selected individuals will spend a year working as full-time research fellows in the Office of the First Deputy Prime Minister (OFDPM), benefiting from advanced training in writing skills, research methods and policy analysis, both in-house and through the Bahrain Institute of Public Administration.

Fellows will also benefit from the opportunity to interact with – and learn from – decision-makers at the highest levels of government. Following this, the fellows will return to their ministries where they will remain points of contact for the OFDPM.

The fellowship, which is open to all bilingual government employees with requisite degrees, forms a core pillar of HRH the Crown Prince’s initiative to improve national skills and support the Kingdom’s growing cadre of young government professionals.

Following a highly competitive selection process which adheres to the principles of equal opportunity, the first group of fellows began the inaugural programme in May 2015.

Applicant Criteria

  • Applicants must be a government employee
  • Applicants must be fully bilingual
  • Applicants must be at a grade below Section Head
  • Applicants must hold at least a Bachelor's university degree
  • Applicants must be well-read, up to date on current affairs, and capable of critical analysis
  • Applicants must be willing to work shifts and on weekends for a year

 

تماشياً مع رؤية صاحب السمو الملكي الأمير سلمان بن حمد آل خليفة ولي العهد نائب القائد الأعلى النائب الأول لرئيس مجلس الوزراء لخلق كوادر وطنية قيادية تشارك في التطوير والتنمية من أجل نهضة المملكة، صُمم هذا البرنامج لانتداب الكفاءات البحرينية الشابة والمتميزة من الجهات الحكومية لمدة عام واحد إلى مكتب النائب الأول لرئيس مجلس الوزراء وتدريبهم على مستوى عالي في طرق البحث والتحليل والقيادة بما يخدم عملهم الأساسي في جهاتهم الحكومية الأصلية.

المعايير والشروط:

  • أن يكون المتقدم موظفاً حكومياً أو منتسباً لإحدى الشركات الحكومية.
  • أن يكون حاملاً لشهادة جامعية بدرجة بكالوريوس وما فوق.
  • أن يكون المتقدم بدرجة أقل من رئيس قسم أو شعبة.
  • يجيد اللغتين العربية والإنجليزية كتابةً وتحدثاً.
  • أن يكون المتقدم على استعداد كامل للعمل بنظام النوبات الصباحية والمسائية وخلال العطل.

أهداف البرنامج:

  • رفع مستوى الكوادر الوطنية الشابة مهنياً، من خلال إخضاعهم لبرامج تدريبية مكثفة حول طرق البحث والتحليل والقيادة.
  • التعرف عن قرب على آلية صنع وتنفيذ السياسات والبرامج الحكومية من خلال عملهم بشكل مباشر مع عدد من المسؤولين وصناع القرار في المكتب.
